Under New Management Part 2 [ Land Claim]

Ok so the seat of pride was once again under his control fully. With the demons of sloth and fear patrolling the borders there wouldn't be any issues with keeping out the prey. Or indeed the predators. However as Jack had once said to Iskra he wasn't just going to be happy with merely the seat of Pride anymore. The forces of the psyche demons under the leadership of pride. Himself. Would be expanding their territory. And Jack was leading the ffirst pint. Taking areas near the lake of fire for a particular reason. Easy disposal of corpses. But also, despite the heat, Jack liked the symbols of chaos that it brought baout. A firey lake, explosions of flames. Clashes, a symbol of raw power. And it was this power that Jack would be bringing to the seat of pride. This would be the core element of their power. Moving in. Jack knew that this place was going to be far more deeply infested with his demonic breathern than other locations. So. It was going to be slightly more difficult to oughst the fuckers. As they probbably would have been hording this land for some time. Jack knew what some of the older demons were like. After all it was much like Jowan and the rest of the lords of pride. They had clung to that place, that one place without hope for expansion for some time. And yet they had all the power to do so. Just no fucking ambition.

Still jack felt absolutely no guilt or regret for killing them all off. They gave pride a bad name. Jack was going to make it something to be respected and feared anew. He felt almost invigorated after killing those things, feeding off their pride had restored much of what he had lost in that fight with Iskra. Yet still he wasn't going to transform unless the occasion really called for it. Which at this stage, it did not. Still. Jack had to wonder about ther things. For one, just where the hell had Ceila been in these past few days, it was moivng into a week now since he had seen the demon of madness. And she hadn't been in the library when he had been there with that human. It was odd. Even odder was that he actually found himself...worried? No. Not that. More he was made uneasy by the fact that she had broken what had become to be a sort of schedule of meetings and cryptic messages ever since he had killed Pride. Perhaps she had noticed the coming of Iskra? Perhaps she feared the Matriarchs presence. No. Doubtful.

There was of course just one simple method of exterminating all the vermin within this area. And that was of course one of the new techniques that he had been learning as of late. The ability to control and develop helpfire by mixing his own dark magics in with his ability to create magical fire. The odd thing that he noticed about hell fire was not just the change in colour but how after it burned, everything it touched was not only cursed. but smelled distinctly of sulfur. Not something one could really notice this close to liquid magma though. Sulfur popped up all the time in hell leaving the place smelling distinctly like rotton eggs Although to a natives nose. The scent became something that was just ignored. After all you smell something often enough you just get used to it, just becomes something thats passed away in the background. Yes, the technique he had been developing was something that was....to say the least. Dangerous. It was one that was capable of wiping out everything within a radius of 150 feet from where he stood. Which from right this spot. Was about enough to reach the borders of the lands surrounding the seat of pride. Just enough to wipe out everything in here without having to bother with individual hunting. That he could do with Iskra.

Gathering up the power of the pride within him. He began to channel it through himself and then into the air of the outside. He then tapped into his resiviours of dark enery, created by his use of blood magic. Mixing both of them in together until around him began to spark deep crimson fire. But it wasn't enough, that was just the begining. Next Jjack reached into his deep levels of spiritual and magical strength and began to push it forward. The effect of this would be like rocket fuel hitting fire, or a lightning bolt striking a pylon. THe power was ignited and the attack began. And once it had began there was no going back. A layer of hell fire began to form and burn around Jacks body. But he himself wasn't actually on fire. Rather it was emitting from his own demonic aura. With a single push out of force. It began to form out into a sphere of hellfire that surrounded him. The ground that the fire touched began to char and blacken. But. This was only the begining.

From some distance away those who were able would be able to see the massive sphere of flames that engulfed that portion of the underworld. jacks attack was something that was truely awe inspiring. Certainly it was for those demons who were caught up in such a thing. Burned away before they had the chance to run. Yet they should be honoured that they had a chance to become part of Jacks experiment with the technique. Jack felt afterwards, the ground below him. Burned and dry far more than it would have been normally. Yet also. Cursed. Not that it mattered since most things were cursed in one way or another in the Underworld. Yet. If he used such a technique in Terra. Or even in heaven. The effects upon the enviroment would have been devistating. This made him smirk. If only slightly. One more area down. But there was plenty more to go if Jack planned on actually conquering the entirity of hell.
