It was getting late, and well, I really didn’t feel like waiting for a human to finish looting another humans habitat. It was strange to think they were each on their own path without working together. How long had I been sitting here, waiting for the silver haired man to return from the depths of that strange building. It had gone rather silent since the explosion had occurred. It may have been safe to assume that everything had gone downhill after that, and the mission was utterly failed. Sitting atop the outer wall of the compound, I looked across the individual styles of destruction that had dispatched those outside. It was interesting to try and guess who did what. I could almost tell that the torn body parts were probably that demon lady. What had happened to the other kami, however, was beyond me. Why he would throw in with that kinda lot was beyond understanding of rational thought. Oh well. Standing up, I would take one last look to see if anyone emerged before departing back for my own realm…

As previously mentioned, the job had been a bust. Aside from being side tracked by various odd outside factions, the princess was never found and there seemed no reason to go back and report anything to the village and its leader. After the reunion between Little Hunter and myself, we decided on settling in this area for a moment. Since work had been done to take out most of the creatures and monsters roaming about it, we figured we might as well make use of it. With that decision came the realization that the village would probably continue to send explorers here in search of their princess, so Little Hunter and I decided that we would have to tell them about her plight in the following days. Either way, my reunion with him was over and it seemed that there were greetings between other parties occurring as well. Yuki, who I knew from the desert was here and turned out being the brother that Eri and I were looking for. It was good for her that she found what she was looking for, but I was still searching on my end.

With the night’s activities coming to an end, it would be time to perform the final walk through of the premises to make sure it was clear before I could feel comfortable resting in it. This would be a task that would have to be split up between all parties, so I opted to take the backyard and courtyard first. While clearing out the yard, I would be able to come up with fire wood as well; thus was the plan.

In moving to the courtyard area, I noticed something moving that seemed familiar and not a monster. On closer recognition via the light shining down from the moon, I could see it was the one who had been with Little Hunter earlier. Earlier I noticed he moved with the others who disrupted the job, but now I wondered if he were waiting for my associate. Approaching him from the house, I would call out a greeting of, “Yo… so that went horrible. The princess isn’t anywhere to be found and half of the structure go demolished.” I introduce myself with, “I’m Jyn… I saw you playing with some huge plant in the far room on the side of this structure in passing. How’d that go?”

I would take a seat while waiting for the silver void guy who could warp his way out of any decent fight.. It was a pain to be so patient sometimes. While sitting, I would bring my eyes to survey the landscape, both inside and outside of these walls. It was an interesting place to have any type of hideout. I also wondered how a monster like that could have controlled other monsters. Could this lead to understanding that they were actually intelligent creatures? That note would quickly go inside of my notebook, along with a special message that said objective failure. Closing it, a voice caught my ears, and it was one that I had never heard before. My eyes would instantly dart to another man, probably human, who said something then mentioned the plant thing.
“The plant was a pain in the ass, like the rest of this ordeal. No princess, a giant man eating plant that the demons took care of, and all we get left over is an empty half shell of a house and some gargoyles flying around. May I assume your end turned out about the same? “

It was surprising to see a human here amidst all of these random spirits. That really brought focus in my mind back to the kami and oni who were together. Why would an angel and demon ever be together?

“Heh,” an agreeable smile would be on my face with a chuckle as I heard the part about his experience thus far. Chuckling about the encounter, I comment, “yeah, it’s going to be a bitch explaining what happened to that village. I’m glad I let your group go first though, it really saved me and Eri a lot of trouble getting into the house. Still, like you said, there was no princess inside; just a few monsters we had to take out.” I noticed that I had introduced myself to him and he hadn’t offered me his name. I assumed since he knew Little Hunter that he was fine to speak to, but I inquire anyway, “but I noticed you back at the village with Little Hunter…” I clarify, “the other white haired guy.” I continue, “do you both know one another as working associates or something like that? I saw that group you were with, I guessed you were some type of adventurer’s guild.” I was a bit curious to see if this was Battousai’s replacement or something to that matter. He seemed like a magic type, much like Little Hunter, but I had missed his battle with the plant to know anything about him other than the fact that he could fly.

This one could talk a lot. Fortunately for me, I really liked talking a lot. I would sit there and listen to him until the point where he mentioned the silver haired void walker. I was probably not going to let it be known that we knew each other, as I didn’t want trouble to come to him in any way, but hell, it wasn’t really my place to worry. Besides, he could warp his ass out of any conflict if he wanted to. As much of a dishonorable motion that was, it wasn’t my place to criticize someone else’s fighting style. He had his own, I had my own, and I’m sure this newcomer had his own. Realizing that he had given his name, I felt it slightly rude to not give mine in return. Was that rude down here? We had formalities that we followed in my realm, but that wasn’t anything that could really be held to a high standard down here. Everything was so barbaric. I guess in a land plagued by demons and disorder that was what one should expect.
“Ashurei. I am part of no guild from this land, or any other. I merely came here on accident and joined in the festivities when Silver had done the same.“
I wondered if he would pick up what I had said. While I usually enjoyed being cryptic with my words, I wasn’t about to come straight out and say that I was from a land far away up in the sky. Most humans would think I’m crazy. The others would probably start worshiping me as a deity or something. Either one was not in my best interest, so I stayed away from giving humans direct Intel on my people.

Something deep within me resounded greatly with the entity that was in front of me; it hadn’t made itself readily apparently until I had come within verbal range of the Kami. There was almost an otherworldly aura that seemed to glow on the Kami, as did with almost all Kamis, and though my human side wouldn’t really pick up on this, the portion of me that was Kami would recognize that he was familiar in that manner. Due to his presence, there seemed to be an interruption and distraction deep inside of me that I would not be used to. It came in the form of a headache, but little did I know a reaction had started that would soon physically manifest itself. I wince slightly, though attempting to keep my social appearance of demanor, only raising a single hand to my head and holding it slightly as I answer, “nice to meet you Ashurei.” I would continue, “Silver, as you call him, and I go back, so I thought we might have a mutual friend.” The headache began to become a bit more distracting as I wondered if the cause for my pain was the person before me. It was at that time that I started to become wary of this ‘Ashurei’ person.

Really? The two of them went way back. He had never mentioned any of that to me. Then again, I had also asked him to not reveal my own existence to anyone else. I was unaware of whether or not there were any more of my kind here. It was a difficult thing to stay hidden while in plain sight here. These humans could be resourceful at times. On the flip side, glowing a light shade of blue in the middle of night probably gave me away. I didn’t really know what it was, or how to control that part of our kind, it just happened. Usually the glow could fluctuate based on our mood, but it would stay within the range of our powers. Due to my lightning, my shades would always be blues and occasionally a white or yellow. I wondered if demons did that as well. Yet another thing for me to research later.
“really now.. he is an interesting human, and his ability to control the winds of magic has greatly impressed me. I was unsure of whether or not he would make it out here tonight since I left before him, but he did, and for that I am grateful. What about you, why did you venture out here tonight.. adventure? Or perhaps something else…”

The headaches intensify and though he is talking, it’s hard for me to make out the words that he is saying. I take a step of caution back from him; this demeanor didn’t seem aggressive, so I’m left confused on if I’m being attacked or if something was actually wrong with me. For a moment, I feel panic and then suddenly everything goes white.

Outwardly, a single column of light radiates up from my body and an abnormal force of exerted strength pushes down like an oppressive gravity to the area surrounding me. When the light fades, Jyn’Kai would be gone and an unknown figure would stand before Ashurei.

-

The finding of another Kami in this realm heralded my premature manifestation into this physical world. Since it would be hard to ask through someone else, I came out personally to speak with the Kami named Ashurei and though my entrance was a bit unorthodox, I meant him no harm since within the bounds of my credence of order I would see us as the same. I would greet, “all of our kind should be on one accord, separate from the humanly ways of this corrupt world.” At this moment, my body would emit a ephemeral sapphire aura much like Ashurei’s to boast my point as I would continue, “I am as you are and separate from the being who just stood before you. I came out to give you greetings and to converse.”

My words would end with no reply. Turning my head so I could properly gauge this being, I watched him appear to stumble backwards. Did he get poisoned or something? Was this some type of ritualistic dance? Then, something interesting happened. A white light and a bit of pressure. The flash would probably have gotten the attention of normal people. Then again, those here were nothing close to normal. Watching what appeared to be a completely different, yet same being stand before me, my demeanor would change. It was rare to find our genetic structure inlaid into another. That had been outlawed when this had become the forbidden land. I had no idea how it happened, but would make note of it later.
“We descend from a higher plane of existence, the mere thought that spirits and humans are equal is worse than comparing our lands.. the corruption of this land trumps even the darkness of below. I am rather impressed that a presence such as yours is able to manifest itself inside a human..”

Ah, so we seemed to be on the same accord; such was good. That would make things easier on the both of us and possibly lead to a fruitful conversation. I knew not much about the land where this one had come, but I felt that could be remedied through future interactions. I would look into the meaning of his words knowing that figuratively we should be a higher existence than the wayward humans, but I wondered if he meant that he physically descended form the broken gates in the skies. Addressing his words, I would comment, “then we are in agreement. Yes, unfortunately, I am bound to this earthly vessel, but through it I have been able to intimately observe the humans on a level I feel would be impossible otherwise. I have noted the continual corruption of virgin lands and understand that order must be brought to these dark sheep.” I would get straight to the point, “I see no indication of a power greater than us that is supposed to bring direction. I have been cut off from others like us, so I do not have much knowledge of us beyond my own existence. How many are there from where you come?”

I would sit there while listening to him speak. He would probably have a better idea of this realms state of affairs from being among them for so long. I also found it difficult to understand the complexity of living inside another organism. It was almost as if he were a prisoner in this realm. What a pain that would have to be on any spirit. After his explanation was given, a question was posed. This question was rather interesting to me. I had to say that I didn’t really have an exact number. Our land was, however, as large as this realm. It was kind of like a giant mirror of awesomeness that reciprocated the good that this realm lacked.
“Our realms are the same size.. our numbers are unknown, but we are in mass. This land is pretty much forbidden except for the double R’s.. recon and research. I feel bad for your situation, it must be horrible to be stuck in that body..”

I am able to absorb what he is telling me about his understanding of the realm that I did not yet know of in detail. It would seem the land in the sky was comparable to the one that the humans lived in. From what he said, it indicated that there was already order established where he had come from; that at least was a promising thought. I did show some sort of appreciation for his concern, though the display of emotions, be is pleased or displeased would always be pretty much a neutral and unreadable thing with me. “I shall survive and thrive,” I assure, “but I appreciate your concern. My existence is not known to others or my host, so I would ask that you exercise discretion when interacting with it.” I would move into the next topic of discussion, mentioning, “there are others within proximity of us who could approach at any time. For the ease of conversation, I would suggest we relocate to another place. I can imagine you may have many things to ask me of the humans as I have many things to ask you. The spread of understanding between our people can lead to the purging of evil from this land, which is my ultimate goal.”

Well, he had one thing right. I definitely wanted to purge all evil from this realm. We had begun doing that in ours. For some reason, the dark ones had existed up there. Whether or not they were from the same territory was beyond me. We had originally considered them inferior, tainted versions of ourselves. After a while, we discovered that they were just a completely different species altogether. Their violent tendencies and lack of regard for proper life and peace made them a threat to our ways of life, and resulted in their immediate extermination. We are still killing those on the outlands and in the crystal groves, so there was still work to be had. Listening to his explanation of the others, I would immediately nod in agreement. It would be a pain if others were to come, especially someone else who knew of his human side.

"I agree. You are from this land, lead on."

With a nod I assure, “we shouldn’t have to go far for now.” My gaze shifts to the north beyond the courtyard before my body levitates and then swiftly fades in that direction moving as a good pace of speed until I reached the far wall. Flying over the wall, I lower on the other side of it, allowing us to have a simple physical barrier between us and the house. The bright moonlight from above would illuminate the area we were in along with our natural radiance. I would wait for him before I would continue, “we will have to be brief on this night as to not raise suspicion. As our first meeting, I belief it was fruitful to learn of one another. I would like us to be able to meet more freely in the future and if possible, I would like to see the realm where we belong. Of course that will be for later. For now, I will speak first as I tell you about this land. Before I go into detail, how much do you know of the dark ones and the wayward sheep?” With this I would be referring to Oni and the humans respectively.

It wouldn't take much for my body to rotate in a hundred and eighty degree fashion before my legs lowered, and I sat myself gently on the ground a few feet away from him. with a wall to my back, I would lean on it while thinking about his words. He had been living here for quite a while, so it made sense that he would have more intel on this realm than I would be able to gather for a really long time. I also wanted to show him the wonders of where he belonged. Thinking for a moment, I wondered if it were possible for him to maintain complete control of that host body, or if he was just a conscious being inside of it. So many questions to ask, but that could come later. I would listen to him, and begin my answer while keeping it as brief as possible.

"In my exploration here, I have learned about the tainted ones and their land below this realm. I guess that is what it should be, metaphorically. This middle ground almost feels like the halfway point, a virtuous battle field designed to allow us to fight without endangering our own realms. Their darkness has been running rampant here, and we intend to do something about that."

In listening to the beliefs of the Kami, I’m a bit enlightened on the makeup of this work in a manner that I had yet to think of. I echo his words to make sure I had them correct by stating, “so what you’re saying is that the land we’re currently on is a middle land between that of order and chaos?” I would think on that and comment, “this would imply that the land below is fully chaotic, and since chaos cannot exist within order, then it has claimed this land as well…” The fact that it extended to the Heavens was a harsh reality as well. I continue, “so this makes our task that much harder with the powers of chaos already holding a foothold in the middle grounds that is supposed to serve as the battle grounds of which you spoke.” My concept of order would be bothered by this since there would not be a clearly define ying and yang of the same value; one value would be larger than the other which would bring imbalance. This did help mold the idea within myself that there was a place for the realm of chaos as a certain type of disorder would be wrought if the orderly convent were to take over all realms. I understood, “I’m beginning to see the bigger picture now.” With the completion of my words, he was free to continue with the direction he was going or to shift things to me; I would not attempt to interrupt his flow as he would be actively assisting me with this conversation.

I hoped that all of this was making sense to him. It was pretty new to me as well, but from what I had gathered it was pretty accurate save for minor details. We were doing our best to gradually become involved here, even though some of our kind were against it. We were an independent race of spirits who didn't need to assist the land walkers. All we had to really do was defend our land from the tainted ones, and then rebuild that giant door that is broken at the entrance of our realm. I was still piecing together the issues that had happened to bring us to this point in time. Were the demons the ones who had caused the massive amount of destruction across all of our realms? That was what my currently objective was. If I could prove that they were the cause, I could unite our people under one standard and wage a proper war against the tainted ones.

"Currently, we are rebuilding our society while mimicking that of the old one. Much like the humans have done, except we attempted to replicate the old. Most of our society was kept in tact from before the unknown era. We have no formal leadership, and all work for the greater good of each other. You should come visit sometime, you might like it."

I would nod at the invitation; if they were in the process of rebuilding, then it seemed as if they would need assistance with it. As it were, there was a limit to what I could do to help, but I knew that there was no rush on things. With my unconquerable will, I knew that order would be brought to this realm and the upper realm secured. I would comment, “yes, I will have to do that. Tonight will not be favorable for m to go there, but soon will be best. We should schedule a time to meet with one another... though I assume since you know one of the beings related to my host that you are comfortable moving about the sheep. From what it seems like, my host will probably group with the being currently in attendance aside from the ones you were grouped with earlier. If that is the case, then we shall meet naturally in the future.” Curious to those that he was with earlier, I would question, “who were those that were with you before? They did not seem like us. I couldn’t sense it, but they seemed almost opposite of us.”

Taking a breath, I would think about everything that had been said so that I made sure everything was correct. I was glad to have found another of my kind, kinda, in the chaos of this realm. While listening to his return in this part of the conversation, I would think about the other partner to his host. That would have to be the white haired void walker. Dravec was the only other one who I felt was in that kind of an area. I was curious to their history, but that I could probably get out of the other one. There would also be a nod of agreence to him. I fully understood that one day he would have to return to his own realm and learn about his people. I was unaware of any spirit who was up there that came from down here. Come to think of it, if there were more of our kind down here, they may be unaware of our realm. My attention would come across it, and instead focus on the other aspect of his comments. The others that had been near me. I would almost give a light look of disgust at the mention of them.

"those are the tainted ones, the demons that plague this land in chaos and anarchy. Whether they are from here, or from down there, one thing is for certain. They are bad news, and I urge your host to stay away from them. Be the better part of his mental processing and keep him away from their kind. They thrive on chaos, and have been known to consume the physical bodies of this lands natural inhabitants. Land walkers are nothing more than cattle to them."

From the response I am able to tell that there was some type of abrasion between him and the company he had been with. Though it may have been profiling, there did seem to be a dark cloud over at least two of those within the circle he was forced to interact. With that, my perspective on his interaction with them changed slightly; it seemed as if they distressed him during their contact. It was unfortunately that dark ones were here but he was outnumbered. Unfortunately I would only be able to caution Jyneil to this and have her transmit the warning message to the other personas in a third party manner if I were to keep things the way I wanted them within my host. Not going into all those details with Ashurei, I would simply nod and comment, “I see.” I would continue, “the one’s I’m currently with seem passive enough. There doesn’t seem to be any particular danger in interacting with them.” Mindful of the time that was passing, I would comment, “speaking of them, they may grow wary of my host’s presence. Will you be coming into the housing structure with the host or will you be returning tonight to the land from whence you came?”

I would think about the two demons that I had crossed for a moment. it was a shame that I hadn't been under the influence of that strange plant. I was confident I could have handled them had their been a different set of situational constraints in place. My mind would snap back to the conversation when asked whether or not I was returning to the higher realm, or staying down here for the night. As of right now, I had returned home after every day, and never spent a night down here. Would I be coming into the housing structure with his host? I couldn't really tell if that was an invitation or not to come stay here, and learn more. The land walkers did need their sleep, whereas we didn't really require it. I still wanted to understand a bit more of their history, and this may be an opportunity to get more of an understanding about what he has experienced down here.

"If you wish to allow my presence for the night, I would accept that. Knowledge is power in all realms, and the more we can share the better off we will be for the future."

Since it was up to me, I would revert to the logic that I couldn’t extend him an invitation to the abode; that would have to be done by the other personas of the host body that I was in. I assure him that it didn’t matter whether he stayed with us this night or not by saying, “as non transient beings, there is no rush or deadline for our effort, such is fine. I do agree that collaboration is beneficial between the two of us and others.” I would continue, “whether or not I mind isn’t relevant at the moment. For now, we should perhaps return to the area we were previously occupying and then I can revert back to my host...” As an untrained transformation, the strain would become noticeable if I were to stay out for too long then the internal personas would be needlessly distressed. I conclude, “the amount of time I can spend manifested in this form is limited at the moment, but it is something that I’m currently in the process of honing. Of course if there is anything else, I will hear it now, else we should not linger much longer.”

It seemed time was up with this one. Now I had an interesting decision to make. While part of me wanted to tell the host that he was hosting a spiritual presence inside his body, I figured that would lead to some kind of witch hunt or something bad like that. Bottom line, not in the best interest of a spiritual brother. I would shake my head in response to his words before my body picked up off the ground and floated back to the top of the wall. Once there, I would resume sitting, facing the large estate. It had quieted down quite a bit since we had been out here. While wondering what the actual result of Dravec's search had been, I was left to ponder whether or not I had spent enough time looking through the area myself. That would be erased quickly when the thought of those demons also emerged. Next time, I wouldn't be caught so off guard. Speaking of that, why was one of our kind throwing himself in with them? Had he been put under some form of magical spell? I had no idea what was up with it, but I did know that it would have to be fixed. Whatever game she was playing would be dealt with harshly. It may be something like what Red could do, but that was a conversationf or another time. Right now, I was engaged with a human who was a holding vessel for a spirit. Was there a way to get him into his own spiritual body? Maybe future research could tell me taht.

With the conversation agreed upon an end, I would levitate from the ground and proceed back to our original starting point as planned. After traveling over the wall that bordered the estate, I would come to land back in the courtyard that was beyond the back patio. I would look around to see if I saw anyone before shifting my attention back to Ashurei; it had been odd that I was able to perform such a flashy transformation without drawing attention to myself, but I supposed it was a bit of luck that allowed me to do so. After returning my attention to Ashurei, I would not and bid, “farewell, until we meet again.” With that, a bright light would emanate from my body and my form would shift from that of the proud Kami to that of Jyn’Rai. The hair that had lengthened would shorten and the build I previously had would return. In the manner that I came back, it would seem almost as if there was a small skip in the conversation and that not much time had passed. My hand would be on my head from the headache that I had, but I would straighten up and realize that I was okay. Looking to Ashurei, I would apologize, “I’m sorry, I’m not sure what was wrong with me just now…” I murmur, “I wonder if I hit my head…” Shrugging it off, I attempt to answer his last question, “but you were saying something about… oh yeah, how we got here. I’m a traveler myself, so me and my current traveling partner just happened upon that village. You?”

I would watch a change in the being before me, even though it wasn’t as flashy as the time before. What interested me the most though was the skip in conversation, as if nothing had happened? This led to a realization that the host really had no clue that there was a spiritual entity living inside of him. I would smile for a moment while gazing at this one. Dravec probably had no idea about it either. He would pose a question to me as if we had been here the entire time. A sigh would occur when we entered back into normal banter for two people who had just met. How had I got here, he asked? That was simple. I could have been a smart ass and said I flew, but that might not go over so well. The correct term would be “defied gravity”. Thinking it to myself, I would tend to the diplomatic and political part of myself to formulate a proper answer.
“I had been in the area while traveling to return to my realm. When the gathering of people started, I found it interesting since I had yet to see something like that. Once I found Dravec was there, I became interested and roped into doing this little thing. Too bad the villagers will be disappointed.”

With a light sigh at the reminder, my gaze shifts to the side as I admit, “yeah, they’ll probably not take it too well.” At this point in time, though I would ultimately go back and tell the villagers about the plight of their princess, I wouldn’t have made my mind up about it yet. The reference here would lay that thought in my mind since there was probably some closure that needed to be made on our end for the villagers who were expecting some type of miracle. I make the comment, “I guess this world just isn’t that convenient for everything to work out…” My gaze shifts back up as I move back into a less depressing mood, making the comment, “but still, you guys looked like you were working pretty good together to bring down that huge plant creature…” I managed to catch a glimpse of the fight versus the plant in passing to the rear courtyard earlier. “Big ass thing,” I would remark while looking behind me and towards the veranda, “but the rest of the people seemed t split. Maybe they didn’t want to stick around for various reasons.” With that, I wondered if we should look for Little Hunter since this was one of his acquaintances.

I would have to agree with him on that one. With the high amount of chaos in this realm, it was a miracle that anyone had any inkling of hope left at all. I, for one, would lose that at an early stage of life were I to have existed down here for so long. It kinda made me wonder how some of them lived to get that old. Maybe they were here from before the pre-dated era. Either way, it was a curious thing to me.
“maybe the humans just need an excuse. You could always say that we couldn’t find any trace of the beast or their princess. That should give them hope with their disappointment.”
As for the others, I was not a part of any form of alliance or team. They had been there out of convenience, and had there been no plant creature, my attention would have been fully turned on the demon at hand. The thought of a demon being there, posing as helping villagers, really left a bad taste in my mouth. We would have to remain vigilant in times where demons could walk among men freely.
“they were no friends of mine.”
That would be the end of that subject for me, and all I would have to say.

I catch onto the fact that he refers to people as human much like Zaiaku had in Rajeh. The one before me held a humanoid form, so that meant he might be similar to Zaiaku in that manner. I generally didn’t classify the things that I came across, but at least right here I was starting to see some consistency which made me wonder if I had been missing something up until now. With a nod, I would agree, “that seems to make sense; it might make them feel a little bit better.” To the second portion of his words, I would understand, “oh” hearing the shortness of the statement made me think that maybe things didn’t go well between them. Either way, in the end, everything turned out okay. I would turn and look back towards the house and notice that no one had come out to check on us yet. If this guy knew Little Hunter, then it was probably save for him to come in the house, but before that, I wanted to verify something. “So mister,” I would inquire in a serious tone, “even though you might know Little Hunter, I don’t know you. Should I regard you as an ally or just another person?”

I would again look to the house to see if anyone had emerged. To my amusement and interest, the answer was still a resounding no. While gazing off, an interesting question would strike my ears. Was I an enemy? Well now, I hadn't really thought of that. He had, after all, approached me. If he had left me alone I would have flown off and disappeared into the night. I had to think about his question for a moment. It really came down to a form of neutrality. Was I a friend of his? probably not. Was I an ally of the spirit inside of him? definitely. That was where this thing got a bit tricky and I had to watch my words. Any harm that could come to me here would probably be brought on in a form of heresy towards his beliefs, and I had to watch that carefully.

"An enemy and an ally are the same thing to different people. I guess the real question can come down to whether or not you show hostility towards myself. Since you have not, I do not consider you an enemy. However, you are not Dravec and therefore are not exactly an ally either. Think of it as a neutral territory where you are neither good or evil, but simply exist. "

With a nod, I would make the comment, “okay, I can understand that answer. Thanks for being clear with me.” It would be odd, after all, for someone to be chummy right after meeting like this. It was evident that this one didn’t believe in notions that would suggestion that a friend of my friend is my friend and vice versa with enemies. That much was fine since he didn’t seem inclined to evil in any particular sense. To me, neutral was as good as good so long as there was some order being followed with it. Since I had my answer, there was little need to linger anymore. With his personality, I didn’t know if I could be friends with someone like him; he seemed a little stiff to me. But now the worry lessened that I would be attacked by him or that he was here for harm. I would follow up my words with, “well then, I’m satisfied. I saw you out here, so I decided to introduce myself. I’m not sure if there’s anything you need with Little Hunter; are you lingering around here or heading out? I can see if I can find him if you want.”

Now that was something to be curious about. This one had seen a random stranger, and felt the desire to introduce himself. from what I had gathered of this realm, the land walkers were not really that friendly. I guess this could almost be part of his spiritual side as well. Would this also give him a sense of duty and justice? I pondered about it for a moment after he finished speaking. Did I want to see the other one? Would the other one of any interest to me right now? I felt bad interrupting a chance for that one to get some time to relax in. I was rather interested in this one though.

"He never mentioned any "friends".. from the way you speak of him, you seem to be on decent terms. You know him and are still alive, which is a good sign. From what I have gathered, he isn't the type to keep any connections that may.. inconvenience him down the road. So, how are you two related?"

“Heh,” I wonder about that, my attention redrawn into the conversation where I had previously been on my way into departing. My gaze shifts up in a thoughtful manner as I turn back around to face the person whom I was in the process of reestablishing conversation. “I wonder about that…” I murmur with a grin about Little Hunter not being the type to keep connections to those who inconvenienced him. I would admit, “there was a time where I would try to kill him on a daily basis, but not in a bad way, I just kept him on his toes. I was a lot different back then; we sparred from time to time and ran missions together. It got to the point where he was like a little brother to me, but I left one day and haven’t seen him for a few years until now. There’s probably a reason why he hadn’t mentioned me, but then again, I don’t go around telling people who don’t know him about him, so I wouldn’t find that too far out of the ordinary.” I would turn the question back to him, “but for you to say that, I guess you must’ve either fought him or seen him in action?”
