“How did I end up here…?” comes the obvious question as Izuya stands next to a broken temple in the village of Melrah. It was a loaded question with several inner layers, much like an onion. The first issue would be the fact that he had in fact died in the time before the end of times. The memories of his final moments play in his head:

‘For those moments in slow motion, however, there would be small bulb of his own flesh and blood floating in his view as his surprised and gaping face looks at Dem. In the instant after that, his pain distorted visage would shift past Dem and look to Seijin in his final moments. Fear, anxiousness, and confusion are etched into his face. His eyes blink and time seemingly resumes as his body is propelled back and through several buildings before finding its rest on the ground in a crater in the concrete formed by his broken body.’

Apparently, he hadn’t died when he thought he had; for him to be here, he must have entered into a state of unconsciousness, but not quite death. But aside from that, he had no memory of what happened after he had been ‘killed’ so waking up in this realm lead him to ask himself if he were in some type of afterlife. That aside, somehow he had wandered into Melrah and met up with a familiar demon, who he had not known in the past life, but after having struck up a conversation with the big lug of few words, he was informed that he was here as a part of Domen’s will and was to serve him. Since Domen was much bigger than Izuya and he had become attached to living again, Izuya decided “fuck it” and figured Melrah, Sub Domenance, or whatever the hell it was being called, was better than anything else in this screwed up version of the current world.

So, why was he standing next to the broken temple? Well, in his second day on the job, his new boss had given him the task to escort the priestess around and recruit members for what Izuya would comprehend as a cult or something to that nature. Thus, he would be awaiting Kazakura’s presence to have a stroll through Melrah and see about getting some people to drink the special koolaide that was Domenance.

Kazakura was tasked with finding more people for their underground city and though she was emotionally unstable these days, she was still would bring about Domen's will. Pregnant, she would do her best. Today was a beautiful day to be walking around the town to try and get people to move to their city. Though just how she was going to go about doing so, was still up in the air. Her hand found its way to her stomach and abdomen as she walked up the secret back tunnel, that Kaelas as currently guarding. The tunnel that led up into the broken temple. She was carrying Domen's child and was still trying her best to get use to the idea. Letting out a sigh, she moved past the lug of a massive striped feline and gave him an affectionate pat. "I'll bring you back something" Kaelas would always be like a feline son to the demon, his use far more apparent than the priestess.

She moved out of the broken temple and gazed about for her escort. Today she wore white instead of her usual silver, but it was form fitting and she had left her silver hair hanging loose behind her. It was held away from her face by a silver headband that would be hard to see due to the fact that is was the same silver as her hair. Her stomach had not even begun to show yet, so she still cut a beautiful and angelic figure. Her silver eyes finally fell upon the man, and he looked rather out of place. This must be the man that Domen had spoken of, that would escort her around the village. Gracefully she moved to him, her hips swaying gently back and forthe, the material of the dress flowing down her body. Reaching out her hand, she spoke softly, "Greetings. I am Kazakura."

A glance to the side would have Izuya notice the approach of the priestess. Since he had known Seijin in the past, he was a bit familiar with the priestesses from the time where he came from. Due to the amount of time that had passed, dying and reawakening, it wouldn’t readily dawn on Izuya if he had, at some point in time, met Kazakura or not. Still, he would judge her as pretty attractive and easy on the eyes. His body would turn to face her as she approached, his hands in his jeans and his leg cocked slightly in a casual stance. He straightens up, however, as she nears and takes the extended hand, lowering his head in a mock bow before offering a smile and releasing her hand, informing, “and I am nobody. It is nice to meet you, Kazakura…” Moving straight into getting to know her, he would ask, “so like the big guy, are you from now, or previous?” He was still pretty confused on the current status of the world, but as someone who thrived on gathering information, he knew that it would only be a matter of time before he was caught up and knowing more than others. For that reason, he wouldn’t be anxious about anything, but more so laid back and going with the flow.
