Game of Power: Act 1

The burning air feels like a cool summers breeze to the small figure as she wonders across the what is now called the Null Plains to venture into the red forest. An occasional ancient cobblestone peeks through the hard ground indicating decades of neglect . The burning ground feels good on her bare feet but her footprints where not the only ones that marked the area. Prints of small clawed feet, much like her own, lead up and down to from at crude path across the wasteland. The burning red eyes trace a few of the of the tracks and her movements take pause with the glance of beady eye peeping out from the shadows of the rocks. The plains are silent are the small girl stands unmoved for a moment. The air gets hotter as she brings her hand up, point it in the direction of one of the rock formations. Flames cover the hand and burst forth, "Fire Dance." The flames strike the rock, defacing it as it become warped by the heat of the fire. Small creatures come rolling out of hiding from behind the rocks. One already on blaze rolls around on the unforgiving ground, shrieking in pain as the flames eat away at its scaled hide. With spears and blades they run towards the small girl. The stream of fire bends to the girl's will, lashing the group like a flaming whip. The girl waves her arm out, spending a jagged wave out at them that is as high as she is tall. "Flame Stirke."

Game of Power: Act 1

The small lizard men creatures screech with the flames burn their rust-color scales. They fall to the ground with their scaly tails flapping in the air. The group start to back away, one heave a javelin into the air at the girl. The ribbon fire that dances around the girl arcs out, splitting the wood shaft into burning shambles before it rains down on the girl. A swirling red orb builds up at the palm of her hand, before it is released to reap havoc; two of the creatures rush forward with shields made of black scales. The fireball strikes the shield, throwing the creature back into those where behind it and cause the other one to stumble and break it charge. It almost falls to the ground till it is seized by the burning grasp of the small girls clawed hand wrapped around its neck. It clawed hands fight to free itself from the grip as it gets a close glimpse of the girls burning red eyes in the shadow of the dark hood. Undying flames dance to the song of a very old soul within these eye. The creature low intelligence is put into question when it pisses itself when it realizes that they were never the hunters in this battle and she was never the pray. The screeching cries of the creatures echo as they are burned alive. The girl has a faint smile scratch into her lips as the flames devour the creatures till they are nothing more than ash.

Game of Power: Act 1

The charred corpse of the creature is thrown into the ashes of its other comrades in arms. It was clear to the small girl that these lesser creatures must have spawn from the same brood mother. The hot wind blow over the still burning ash letting the girl's burning eyes catch a glimpse of some shinny things the creatures had been carrying with them. She has a liking for shinny things, and she was able to feed some of her hunger with these creatures. Not a bad pull for wondering out in the wasteland and there could be more of these little creatures with their shinny things. Her hands look through the ash to collect up all of the little shinny items. It was not yet clear if they would be useful for anything but a girl likes to have her finery.

Game of Power: Act 1

Moving along after the gather of the loot continue on the path she walked. It leads her to the foot of a broad hill that holds a walled settlement of some type. The wall are weathered stone topped by defensive palisades made from the red oak of the red forest that rest just to the east. This was interesting to say the less. It would appear the wild lands are not as wild as they pronounce it to be with a strong hold being built in the northern foothills of the great peaks. She does not recall this settlement being here before. Her Master must not be the only Lord that is on the rise to power. Walking up what one would call a road that leads to the gothic looking gate that are currently open with two beastmen guards keeping watch.

Game of Power: Act 1

The guards with their stone like skin and beady crimson eyes looking down at the small girl in the dark robes. One takes its spear and jabs at her with in a attempt to ward her away from the gate but finds that his weapons become bound by the strong grip of the small girl. The metal pole starts to heat up and turn red. The other guard sees his comrade having trouble with the small girl before interrupting.

"Alright little one, what is it that you want."

The spear is released from her grasp, forever warped by the imprints of her clawed hand. The burning eyes from the shadows of the dark hood looks up at him.

"Hungry."

The guard groans before cracking the black gate open.

"You can get something from the lodge that is the right inside. Get what you need and then leave and you better not cause any trouble."

The small figure moves between the two guards to enter into the township. Human influence mark the shape and build of the oldest structure and the newer ones mimic them. The walls have a narrow parapet extending around the inside edge with the militia walling them in their watch, ready to stave off outside threats. Demons at arms roman the dusty streets, trades men do their work, and the females walk around with their young. The small girl find this most interesting. A Statue of a hooded figure in robes with a crow on shoulder rest in the town center.

She walks towards the statue and looks up at in with those burning eyes of hers. It did not look a statue of any of the Hogosha that she knew of. This figure is unknown to her.

"That is the statue of Prophet."

"Prophet?"

"He is a powerful Onikonjou Lord in the upper lands. One of his disciples reclaimed this old stronghold from the wildlings and rebuild it. He ruled this place till Lord Padragon took over."

"Interesting choice. This was once one of the watch tower to guard Arden from the elders that sleep within the crystal forest of Vinticus."

The point eared woman with basket of wildflowers gives the small girl an odd look.

"You are just like that pixie woman and remember things before the great slaughter?"

The girls burning eyes turn their attention from the statue to the woman standing next to her.

"What did this pixie woman look like?"

"She was ever... dark. Black wings of iron feathers, glowing red eyes, ash color skin. Wore a lot of finery, she had a black ribbon tied in a bow in her black hair. A few of the males found her to be to their liking and try to take her. After a few of them go devoured the rest ran away and she left. It looked like she was handing for the resting places of ancient bones of great ones. I collect flowers from near the old keep that is close by. You will need to be careful if you decide to head over that way. Dragonspawn are in that area, more and more of them all the time. I have no idea where they are all coming from, but it is obvious that they have moved in and plan to stay. I wonder if that pixie woman has anything to do with it as they did not show up till after she did."
