The Master's Return Empty
PostSubject: The Master's Return   The Master's Return EmptySun Oct 16, 2011 1:03 pm

Dust approaches with the sun setting in the west. Approaching with it, a lone figure walks covered in a dusty brown travel cloak hiding various weapons and a casual attire of tan cargo shorts and a black tee shirt underneath. The cloak conceals the entities entire upper body with a hood covering over head with strands of icy white hair visible at the corners. Due to the presence of the outpost and the wolves probably scouting the area, his scent and facial features would already be recognized as Battousai, the Master of Yuki and Sera. After having been gone to complete some work, he approaches Theden alone making his return after a short journey. His business was completed there and soon it would be over here as well. With his arms folded beneath the travel cloak, he looks upon the village as he approaches it from the distance, noticing the differences in it between when he left and now with his return. He could tell that his student had been busy in completing the village and getting it up to speed. He could also see the north and south eastern walls along with the gate. Figuring that security should have risen as well, he expected to see Yuki’s wolves manifest themselves to him at some point if Yuki didn’t come himself. Still, since he wasn’t a threat, it was perceivable that the scouts simply let him through without bothering him. Either way, if he were uninterrupted, he would continue to the village gates at his strolling pace and arrive there.

The first to take note of the approaching male where the scout wolves Yuki had moving through the forest. When they spotted the male they would hang back within the cover of the forest and simply watch him from afar, cautions by nature and by there master they watched the male to gauge his threat level in a sense though as they wolves came to realize that the male was no threat but instead there master's fried and sensei a group of the wolves, number three in total, would move from hidden within the forest and move along side the male moving towards Theden. Once the wolves had found the male and began to follow him they let Yuki know of his approach so he knew ahead of time that his companion was on his way back to the village.

The population within the village had increased since the last time Battousai had been in the village as has the housing facilities for the people of the village, now the housing sections of the village where booming with homes for all the villagers and more where being constructed by the workers to help facilitate an even larger amount of villagers. Not only had the number of houses increased since the last time the male had been in the village but also another business structure had been erected, The Silver Fang Tavern, a small tavern built to accommodate the needs of whoever may wish to stay.

PostSubject: Re: The Master's Return   The Master's Return EmptySun Oct 16, 2011 11:56 pm

Thanks to the aid of some of his new allies the village now had a school to teach those who are willing so they can help the village. More farm land had been set up to help with the villages need of food and a quarry had been constructed to help produce stone for houses and other works. The military presence with in the village had grown as well though not but a large amount, the number of warriors guarding the village at key points would have increased as well as the number of rangers that helped protect the village.

The wolves followed at the males side as he made his way, not stopping him in anyway since they knew there master would want to see the male and as he came to the gates two warriors would be standing at the gates clad in armor. One of the males having seen the approaching figure looks him over for a moment, " Excuse me sir. " The warrior calls out. Just as the warrior calls out to the approaching male Yuki steps through the open gate and looks to his companion before glancing to the warrior, " It's alright. This man is an ally of Theden. " He says before looking back to his compaion.

PostSubject: Re: The Master's Return   The Master's Return EmptyMon Oct 17, 2011 9:20 pm

As it would seem, the changes were plentiful around the village. Battousai was almost surprised at how much Yuki had gotten accomplished on his own while he was away. He wondered if the wolf was properly maturing into the man he knew he could be. On approaching the guards, Battousai would notice new faces that didn’t seem to recognize him as well; it was fine as their ignorance was not an insult. Upon sensing him, Battousai’s attention would turn to Yuki before he was to address the guards. With his gaze meeting with Yuki’s Battousai would not and greet his student with a “good evening.” There was something in the samurai’s eyes that seemed akin to tiredness, which normally wouldn’t be odd after a journey, but was more so due to the fact that he was a weathered traveler that should be used to the road. Wasting no time in entering into Theden, Battousai would speak simply, “I need to rest, let’s be upon our way.” He was comfortable enough with Yuki where he didn’t feel the need for ceremony on his return, but he would praise the disciple, “you have created a good thing from ruin; you have done well.”

The guards look to there leader Yuki first as he speaks up and the two give a faint nod as they begin to relax since it seemed this newcomer was a friend of there leader and an ally to the village. Looking at his master and companion Yuki gives him a soft smile, " Good evening sensei. " Yuki says, returning the greeting his sensei had offered him. Looking at his sensei Yuki took note of the apparent tiredness that his sensei's eyes held and knew that he should get some rest and perhaps a meal as well. As his sensei entered into the village Yuki shifts and begins to move along side his sensei as he listens to the man as he voices his desire for rest just as Yuki had thought he would. As his sensei praises him for what he has done with the village a smile takes form on Yuki's visage as he gives a faint nod, " Thank you sensei. I have been working hard to rebuild what was lost and build new. I even have good news. If you don't wish to stay within my home any more, which is fine, we have built a tavern. The Silver Fang, it has a few rooms but you are free to stay in one if you wish and I will pay for your stay as long as you are here. Unless you wish to pay for your own room, if you wish to stay there that is. " Yuki left the choice up to his sensei since it was his choice in the matter, either way Yuki would be fine with whichever his sensei chose.

The Master's Return Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Master's Return   The Master's Return EmptyTue Oct 18, 2011 8:14 pm

Battousai would speak, “you didn’t build me a house?” His words would come out dead serious and with no hint of a playful tone in it, but given how pleased he was with Yuki it was perhaps the first joke he had made in the male’s presence. When he had been worried about Yuki and his evil tendencies, Battousai felt that allowing him to create life for others in this way would be a big opportunity for growth and maturity… and Yuki seemed to do a good job of it in the process. Battousai follows his words and continues in speaking that the tavern would be fine; as a traveler, he was used to accommodations of all varieties, though he was particularly interested in what the tavern looked like and considered it a probably part of the tour of the village. Of course, he knew that he would probably have to look at most things in the morning, but seeing the tavern at night would be good.

It would be noticeable that the samurai’s breathing was a bit heavier than usual, since usually it wouldn’t be noticeable. He continues to walk alongside Yuki and continues answering his earlier report, “very good. Have you begun mating with your clansmaids?” From the looks of things, Battousai was sure that Yuki had built a good place for his future family to live and hopefully thrive in.

When his sensei asks about a house, Yuki glances to him for a moment before shifting his gaze form his sensei and glances around for a brief moment. He hadn't thought of such a thing since he knew his sensei traveled around to take care of his business. His sensei seemed to be serious about the matter and that made the half-breed think on it more. He didn't see a problem with his sensei having a house here, such a thing would be good and give his sensei a place he can come back to when ever he needs and not worry about finding shelter, though at the moment it seemed his sensei was find with staying in the tavern and right now that might be for the best since finding him a house might take some time and his sensei seemed to be rather tired. Yuki took note of house his sensei's breathing sounded and wondered if something is wrong with his sensei or if he is just exhausted from all his traveling. As his sensei continues speaking and asks about the mating Yuki nods his head faintly to answer his sensei's question. " Are you alright sensei? "

The samurai would be silent as the inevitable question comes from his disciple. It made him understand that he needed to better hide his feelings. Battousai felt that it was a bad thing to show signs of weakness in front of anyone, so by Yuki being able to tell that something was off, Battousai knew that he was slipping in his demeanor. In a re-brace of his composure, he would attempt to seem as if he were not tired or in any type of pain. Still, he had to verbally answer his student, or at least he felt that he should. He speaks, “I am… coping with recent changes. I’m not the same as I was when I left…” Vaguely he would leave it at that for the time being. The extra strain on his body would be explained as time went on, or maybe it would not be. Either way, it was a personal manner that he would have to work out on his own. Moving back to the topic of things, he would remind, “…but I’ve asked you a question; I shall hear your answer.” He didn’t want to focus on himself, but rather on Yuki, his affairs and growth.

PostSubject: Re: The Master's Return   The Master's Return EmptyTue Oct 18, 2011 11:04 pm

After the question Yuki watches his sensei for a few moments as he waits for his response. With his gaze on his sensei Yuki catches his sensei re-bracing himself as he try's to look as if he was not tired or in pain. A frown takes form on Yuki's face now that his sensei has tried to hide his fatigued status. Turning his gaze from his sensei Yuki looks ahead of the as the tavern he spoke of draws near. Looking ahead of them Yuki listens to his sensei and as he listens to his sensei he can't help but wonder what he means. Yuki continues to listen to his sensei as he shifts the topic now that he has assured him of his status, changing the topic back to what he had asked earlier though Yuki thought he had answered with the nod but guess he had to go deeper with his answer. " Yes, I have begun taking care of that task to get it out of the way. " Yuki answers with another nod of his head as he glances to his sensei for a brief moment before shifting his gaze from the male.

Not to far ahead of them rest there destination, a two story structure of simple design and build though it served the purpose it was created for but Yuki had mind to change it a bit to make it better, but such a thing was on a waiting list of things to do at the moment. Having over the front door was a wooden sign that hung down from a pole sticking out of the wall. Hanging from the pool was the sign, an oval shaped sign that looked as if it was broken in half with a fang like design carved in the wood coming down trough the middle of the sign and the name of the tavern carved into the sign.

PostSubject: Re: The Master's Return   The Master's Return EmptyWed Oct 19, 2011 8:35 pm

The clear evening skies above would be a crystalline mixture of black and blue with the celestial bodies hanging passively in the blanketing heavens. Battousai would be more paced in his walking, enjoying the cool night time air that flowed through his garments and seemed to attempt to bring calm to his tired body. There would be a lingering feeling as if Battousai’s spiritual signature was trailing behind him. His signature would also be a little different than before; not as if it had shifted, but as if an ingredient in what it had consisted of had been removed. The samurai is able to understand that Yuki had actively been building his family answering what he had missed when he did not take in Yuki’s initial nod. With a nod of his own, Battousai would simply remark, “I see.” His gaze continues to take in the new features of the village mentally comparing them to the visuals he had before he left the village.

The samurai’s eyes would come upon what he took to be the tavern as it seemed to fit the bill for such a place. In seeing the sign, Battousai would repeat, “the silver fang…” It was certainly a fitting name for a tavern that Yuki would have built. He approves of the place as they approach the doors to it. He would allow Yuki to get the door if he were to get there first, before walking into the interior to see what the establishment would look like on the inside.

Following at his sensei's side Yuki could sense the change in his sensei's spiritual signature and such a thing made him wonder more upon the status of his sensei. Though he wondered more upon the status of his sensei Yuki wasn't sure if he should ask his sensei about such things since he seemed to dismiss the inquiry about his physical status before when he asked about it. As his sensei speaks up he gives a faint nod, glad that he had cleared up the matter about the mating thing with his sensei. Yuki remains silent until he hears his sensei remark about the name of the tavern as they come upon the building. Lifting his gaze Yuki looks to the sign for a moment before giving another nod as he looks to his sensei, " That is what I chose to name it when it was built. " He answers as they come to the door. Taking a step forwards Yuki and pushes the door open, leading the way into the tavern and holding the door open for his sensei.

The interior of the tavern is laid out rather simply, from the front entrance a path leads straight to the bar and on either side of the path are tables scattered about the 'dining' area of the tavern with enough space for people to slip through with out causing to much trouble. Over half of the tables are already filled with patrons, people from the village ranging from villagers to some of the off duty soldiers that guard the village.

PostSubject: Re: The Master's Return   The Master's Return EmptyThu Oct 20, 2011 3:10 pm

Battousai steps into the interior of the tavern and looks around. Another point of interest would be the lack of Jyn or Dravec. The samurai had left with both of them, with Jyn using a temporary body and Dravec as normal, but currently neither of them were currently with him. But now, he would gaze upon the interior of this silver fang. It is nice, he would give further praise to Yuki; it would seem as if this were Christmas for him or something given the amount of praise that Battousai had given him thus far. Seeing the other people in attendance there, it seemed as if things were going well for the tavern; there were many new faces to be seen mixed in with a few that the samurai would notice. Turning to Yuki, Battousai would speak, if you can show me to where I will be staying I think I would like to rest for now. There were things that he would want to go over with Yuki, but he figured that he would do that in the morning. He expected Yuki to handle the particulars about his stay rather than him going to the Innkeeper himself, thus he would await Yukis direction on how to proceed in this process.

PostSubject: Re: The Master's Return   The Master's Return EmptyThu Oct 20, 2011 3:31 pm

With in the tavern Yuki is greeted by the patrons and he returns there greetings before setting his full attention upon his sensei, wondering where Dravec and his companion Jyn where since he had seen his sensei leave with the two but come back on his own, had Dravec went to take care of other things, though he thought Jyn would have come back with him just as he had left. As his sensei praises him more, Yuki smiles as he gives a faint nod at the praise from his sensei, thanking the male for his praise. When his sensei brings up where he will be staying, Yuki gives another nod and begins to lead the way through the tavern and over to the bar. Since his sensei wished to rest for the night Yuki decided to put off his questions for tomorrow when his sensei felt rested. Leading the way to the bar, Yuki takes a moment to speak with the bartender, setting up the accommodations for his sensei and once he had a room he pulled out some items from his pocket and placed them upon the bar, even though he didn't have to Yuki gave the bartender enough to cover the room as well as anything his sensei would need should he grow hungry or thirsty and anything else. With his sensei's accommodations taken care of Yuki looks to his sensei and asks him to follow before heading for the stairs that lead up to the second floor.

With his movements trailing Yuki's in a sauntering manner, Battousai's gaze would eventually shift to the bar where he would watch the interaction between the bar keeper and his disciple. After the conversational transaction is over and the accommodations are set the samurai would acknowledge the request to follow and together they would head for the stairs. Battousai's hand would come to the wooden rail of the stairway and it would slide along with his movements as he made his way up the stairs. More tired than anything, stairs were among the last things he wanted to progress, but with his journey coming to an end, he was hopeful of the bed that awaited beyond. Of course, his discomfort would be hidden as best as possible during the transition from the first to the second floor. Once on the second floor, the samurai would follow Yuki until he is led to the room where he would be staying. After he is brought to he room, he would enter into it and look around to see the accommodations that were prepared for him. After looking about the room, he would look back to Yuki and comment, "we shall speak properly in the morning."

As he leads the way up the steps Yuki glances back to his sensei from time to time to check on the male to make sure he is making it up the stairs alright and he can't help but wonder if he will have to carry his sensei up the stairs and to the room he has gotten for him. Turning his attention back ahead of him Yuki continues to move up the stairs at a slow pace so his sensei can keep up. Coming to the second floor Yuki glances back to his sensei before turning his attention to the hall ahead of him and glances around for a brief moment before he begins to move again. When he had gotten his sensei a room, Yuki made sure to get one the rooms closest to the top of the stairs so he wouldn't have to go far before finding his room. Leading the way from the stairs Yuki moves to the first door on the left not far from the top of the stairs. Moving over to the door Yuki reaches out and pushes it open as he steps into the room. The room itself is rather simple it had a single bed tucked away in one side of the room though it is large enough to fit two people, not far from the bed rested a night stand and on the other side of the room opposite the bed was an armoire closet resting against the wall for storing cloths in. A table rest against the wall not far from the bed that hat a large bowl and some drying cloths on it for washing up and between the bed and the armoire closet was a window.

Inside the room, Battousai would light the lantern beside the night stand, given that since it was night time and they weren’t expecting him, it would make sense that the room was dark. He notices that Yuki lingers during this process and after his words with no real response; that much was fine to him, however. After having been shown to the room and speaking and Battousai would inform Yuki, “then I shall see you in the morning.” With that, he would wait for the wolf to leave before taking a few steps to close the door behind him. After closing the door, he is able to exhale a bit. His hand comes up to take and remove the mask that covered the bottom portion of his face. Walking over to the bed, he lays the mask to its side on the nightstand. From there, he begins to disrobe into his under garments taking all of the travel attire off of him. For a moment he lingered standing in the room debating on whether or not to wash up before going to bed. Sleep would win over cleanliness on this day as Battousai would elect to go to the bed rather than to wash up right away. From there he makes his way over to the bed and slips into it.

Turning his attention back to his sensei and companion after moving into the room, Yuki gives a faint nod to what his sensei has said, " Sleep well sensei and I shall see you in the morning. " With that Yuki would make his way back out of the room, pausing for a moment outside the door to glance back into the room to his sensei before he shifts his attention away once again and begins to move away from the door. He was glad to see his sensei again though he wondered what had happened to his sensei while he was away though such questions would have to wait until in the morning when his sensei felt up to answering his questions. Having left the room Yuki moves to the stairs and makes his way down the stairs. Making his way off of the stairs Yuki glances to the bartender for a moment and as he does the bartender looks to him and gives a faint nod, a gesture Yuki returns before shifting his attention from the bartender as he begins to move from the stairs and towards the tavern exit. He had made sure the bartender knew to provide his sensei with food and drink should he ask at no cost since he was paying for his sensei's stay and food. Once he left the tavern Yuki headed back to his home to turn in for the night.
