Some time has passed since the recent events that Cas encountered in the deeper parts of this forests. His clothes only slightly torn, though his muscular figure gave the idea that it was his body that did the tearing. He had sustained minor injuries on his right arm and a few scratches on his chest. The encounter with a feral beast was one that he somewhat expected considering the environment that he was in. A forest was bond to have some kinds of beast that he knew even without the help of his Memories. The ordeal was over now, and he had to find some place of rest since the skies wasn’t to his liking. The worst time to be wandering the forests was at night, or at least that was what he believed. His eyes motioned towards the trees and to the space in between them. He wanted to be sure that there was nothing near him that could pop out and catch him by surprise, so simply put he was moving through with caution. There was only a slight breeze due to the passage that the trees blocked, breaking some of the breeze that came through in his direction, still it was good enough to bring some relief to him.

The Silence began to bother him even though it was probably one of the factors that kept him aware of what was going on around him. Branches brunching up against each other and the wind blowing. That’s all he could make out of his surrounding by ear, not detecting anything else within the vicinity. Cas didn’t know his path, or his destination, but he knew that somewhere along the lines it’ll reveal itself to him, so moving with the flow of things and going where ever the winds took him seemed like the best thing to do at the time. Slowly but surely, something began to enter his view that was quite different than the surroundings he have been taking in for the past few hours. It appeared to be some homes, or some kind of structures which resembled that of homes except they were made of straw and various other materials from the surrounding. The first thing that came to his head was a question…was there inhabitants there and were they hostile. The only thing that he possessed at the moment to defend himself was his fists and feet, though at this point he was more so a defender than a fighter. Defeating that feral beast earlier was simply luck due to the fact that through the fight it mainly consisted of Cas defending and dodging. All he could do was hope that they were non-hostile since he needed a place to rest at, as resting in the forest itself was just a bad idea.

Within minutes Cas made his way into the little village, shifting his eyes to the left and to the right. He wasn’t sure if the inhabitant s were just going to outright attack him or be peaceful, though it didn’t hurt to have the guard up. While walking through the entrance, he took noticed that most of the individuals were females, and no not naked. Some possessed clothes that gave the idea of tribal individuals while some wore clothes that was more to his generation. Were some of the individuals that were here actually from other places like himself ? That’s what he got from their appearance, also since the complexion of them varied greatly amongst each other. It was composed of African, causian and even asian decent, and from that he got the idea that they were accepting of others. The chances are usually less when its an area composed soley of one ethnicity. While walking in, the individuals looked at him, while others went along their own business. Their expressions wasn’t that of aggression or anything that indicated that they didn’t want him there so he just continued walking. It was best to find the least harmless one and speak to them about the person in charge of this place.

Its dangerous if you don’t go there well prepared so always check with someone before going. There is also a spot within the cave where I like to go to think about things”.

Clenching his fists, Castiel would put up his guard much like he had earlier when he was fighting the feral beast, though this time the arms was down to his side, motioning back and forwards with his walk.

A few hours would pass since making it to the entrance of the cave as Castiel continued his search for Vera. The same determined look remained on his face while looking for her, never changing. He came across a few beasts, less dangerous than the feral beast he faced before so they didn’t give him much problem. They were easily defeated with evasive tactics and pure melee, using normal but well strength enforced punches and kicks. The Cave itself became damper the further he got into it, which caused him to become slightly more cautious for possible toxins. Sometimes odd harmful substances was carried through liquids, definitely when its dealing with nature so little water puddles he tried to avoid even though he had boots on. As Castiel drew closer, he could hear some noises, but then the room itself got bright blue. Making a turn and looking in, there was a huge area covered with sparkling blue water, and in the middle of it was a platform and on it was Vera who appeared to be unconscious.” VERA!! “ Castiel yelled to her as he pushed off from his position and ran down the narrow path that led to the middle. He ran as fast as he can, making it to the platform middle and kneeling down to her.

Vera’s Expression was quite weak but she couldn’t help but smile, seeing the man that was fighting to protect her. Castiel positioned her right so she would have some level of comfort while he handled business. Moving out from behind the rock in which he placed Vera, Castiel would face down the beast that he fought once before. This thing was going to have to be put down for good this time, which Castiel was willing to do in order to protect Vera. His eyes narrowed at the beast as it growled, probably able to recognize him. This didn’t matter though because no matter how hard the beast tried, this battle was one sided.” Im putting you down for good! “ With saying that, the beast dashed towards him with it’s mouth open, intending to take a chunk out of him if the moment presented itself. Castiel didn’t move to the side nor dodged. Instead he moved forwards to engage the beast, and when he drew closer, threw his knee up hitting the beast jawline and forcing the mouth shut. The beast’s head motioned upwards. He followed up with a kick towards its stomach, kicking it back onto it’s backside. He didn’t let up as he pushed forwards while it was on it’s back side.

Vera watched from behind the rock with a weak expression, and despite this there was a feint blush that crossed her face.” Ca..s”. She felt helpless, but even if she was in good condition there wasn’t much she could do. The beast was stunned for a second, in which Castiel got ontop of it, right where it’s heart would be positioned and he punched at it really hard, hoping to break through some of the bones inside. It didn’t work and moments afterwards the beast began to get up again, not appearing weak after the blows that was just dealt to it. Without weapons, this would be even harder than he thought, since methods like he did before didn’t work. The drive he possessed is what made this onesided. It came at him, but this time he pushed to the side, jumped and then pushed his feet off the wall to push back in the direction of the beast. He was attempting to kick it onto his side, but due to the timing he had missed. The frustration that came with Missing was great, but what freaked him out more was that the beast was near the rock that Vera was hiding behind.

He needed to do something and quick. Castiel’s attention shot towards the beast as he rushed it, spearing it from the side and tackling it. Through this put him in great danger, but he got the beast some distance away from Vera. At the cost of doing so, Castiel received slashes in his back that came from the claws of the beast and it even attempted to bit into his shoulders.” GRAAAAAA!! “ This was getting out of hand and he had to bring an end to this immediately. Castiel reached for a stalagmite that was no longer connected to the structures of the cave, and with grabbing onto it he would lift it up while pulling himself out of the range of the bite. His intentions was to avoid getting biten while making space between his torso and It’s torso. He brought it up slammed it down into the chest, impaling the beast. There was a slight struggle and signs of pains from it, but moments afterwards it’s movements began to slow down drastically until it came to a complete stop, which indicated that the feral beast was finally dead. Castiel panted a little bit but then turned his attention over to Vera.

“ Damn thing…is finally dead. Now lets get you out of here “. She closed her eyes and sighed in relief. Castiel walked over to her and picked her up once again. With this was a victorious feel, and now was the part where they got the hell out of there. After awhile of walking, Castiel would finally make it out of the cave with Vera in his arms, and from there he just continued his way back to the village. There was no words exchanged between the two on the way there, though the two was just enjoying the relief that came with no more danger ahead. There was the case of the infection that Vera had, but that would be handled when they got to the village, which only took about an hour or two. When they got there, the same little girl that was there before was there now waiting for Vera’s return.” Go get help! Vera’s hurt “. The little girl took in Cas words and rushed off to seek assistant within the village. It was only moments before the people came and grabbed Vera, taking her to the Medic ward and tending to any injuries she had as well as the infection she had in her leg.

The Infection didn’t seem that huge, but that was the idea that came from a figure whose body was build for huge punishment, physical or biological. His expression was kind of down as he waiting, hoping she was okay. After a few more minutes, a Lady would walk out of the ward and sigh in relief. “ Vera is going to be okay.
