First time actually around this place, or so this particular individual believed. His hands were in his pocket and head lowered to the ground, though with this he was still capable of avoiding direct contact with individuals that had crossed his path. Mare Maris seemed familiar but he could not recall ever being here, so he traveled in a casual manner, occassionally looking at the areas in a somewhat impressed manner. This individual was dressed in a manner that somewhat didnt stick out too much due to the above average status of the place he was in. An individual could look at him and get the idea that he was high class or slightly above average. His posture didn't present that all too well though. His reasons for traveling through these parts was to look for a place to chill at, but before then grab something to eat to satisfy his stomach from all that traveling. Random nights he'll find himself along the coast alone, without even knowing how he got there. Getting a place here would help settle some off things about his life that he himself couldn't make up. A man approached him, appearing to be lost." Hey whats your name ? ". This figure lifted his head slightly and looked to the lost guy." Balmung ". Simple reply for a simple question." Where can I find the Bazaar ? ". Balmung wasn't familiar with the area so he couldn't give a good answer." I don't know. Sorry ". And with that, the lost man would continue on his while while Balmung continued walking going about his own business.

Shifting his gaze about, Yuki slowly jumps between the people around him, glancing from person to person as he takes in a slow deep breath and holds it for a moment before letting it out as a sigh, " What shall we do to do with our time today.. " He murmurs lightly to himself as he tosses around what his options where for doing on this fine day. Though he didn't have a real answer to his question, Yuki still slowly moved forwards while shifting his gaze and moving his way through the crowed. Even with out an idea of what he wanted to do today he could still wander around while thinking of what to do and there is always going and getting something to eat, the half-breed never had a problem with simply being a lazy ass and eating at a tavern or some other place where he could get some food. The white hared male slowly moved through the crowed in his standard attire, garments reminiscent of the old world he wore a long black trench coat ant almost touch the ground and black slacks along with a pare of boots though he had no shirt on under the coat, on his back rest the only viable weapon on his person a massive weapon bound in cloth and almost, if not, the same height as the male.

Balmung began receiving a little headache out of no where, though it only lasted a short period. In the midst of that, a single image flashed through his head which was of this well dress casual little boy who stood infront of a waving shadow. The image itself caused him to lose awareness for a short period, which was enough for him to bump shoulders with another individual possessing white hair and a huge weapon on him. Already being slightly disoriented, the bump would cause him to turn slightly then fall on his behind." Ah damn it! my head ". He muttered before opening his eyes slightly to see the figure he had bumped into." Hey Im sorry for bumping you...didn't feel quite myself for a second ". He wasn't sure if a reason for the bump was wanted by the figure, but felt like it was appropriate to give a reason. Balmung's right hand was on his head as he shook it slightly to fully snap back to himself. Other individuals that were within the area that had noticed the fall of Balmung paused for a mere second to look, and then continued on their merry way.

Moving through the crowed Yuki continued to shift his gaze about, jumping between people and buildings. He continued to shift his gaze about until he felt someone bump into him which caused him to come to a stop and turn to see who had bumped into him. Turning his attention to the male, Yuki looks down at him resting on his bum after falling down. Yuki shifts his gaze over the males figure for a brief moment before bringing his gaze to the male's face as he gives a faint nod in response to what the male had said. " It's alright. " The half-breed murmurs as he again shifts his gaze over the male. Since it seemed the male wasn't having the best of times at the moment Yuki lifts his hand from his side and reaches down, offering to help the male in in a friendly gesture. " No harm was done. " Yuki adds with another slight nod of the head as he looks at the male. Being someone that Yuki has not seen before and he seemed to be no threat, the half-breed keeps a friendly demeanor about him while offering aid to the male.

Balmung looked at the hand of the individual, and was surprised about the gesture for some reason. He had not been here long enough to know people around here so he couldn't get the idea that people of Mare Maris wouldn't help, but still he was somewhat surprised and accepted the great gesture. Balmung has had bad days but today had just seemed completely off to him. Even with a little disorentation he was an individual to keep a good balance and overcome it, but this time it was completely different." Thanks. It's one of those days where things just seemed to...be completely out of the norm ". That was the best way he could put it at the moment before the attire of the individual caught his attention. Slacks, black trench coat, and the weapon didn't scream royal guard, and at the same time it didn't scream citizen, so it came to his mind that this person may not have been from around here. It would have been somewhat rude to just outright ask the individual, so when he gained his footing and released the hand, Balmung would give a slight bow in show of respect.

As the male speaks, Yuki gives a faint nod to his statement, understanding what he was saying and sympathizing since he too had off days. " I see. " the half-breed murmurs lightly, " And your welcome. Perhaps you should find somewhere to sit so you don't fall again. " Yuki suggests as he begins to help the male climb back to his feet. Helping the male climb to his feet Yuki releases his grasp on the male's hand once he was on his feet and lets his arm fall back to his side as he watches the male bow in respect. Yuki gives a nod of the head in response to the male's bow. Yuki shifts his gaze from the male for a brief moment, glancing around before he turns his gaze back to the male as he again reaches out to the male, offering him a friendly hand shake, " Tell me, what is your name friend? " the half-breed inquires as he gazes at the strange male that had bumped into him, seeking to know the males name so he can address him in a more proper manner. The male seemed to be rather nice Yuki thought as he looked at him.

The individual's suggestion didn't fall on deaf ears, as he was considering the idea of just relaxing after that had occured, but then he was sure that it was just a little moment that wouldn't occur again. The next action which was of the extended hand caused a slight smile to grow on Balmung's face, accepting the hand and shaking it. In the process of doing so, he would answer his question, with slight expectations of receiving the same from him." I am Balmung...". Before he could even finish that sentence, he realized that he didn't have a last name, and could recall being addressed simply as Balmung by others who knew him." Just Balmung. I just come to realize that I don't have a last name. Strange ". He said rubbing the back of his head slightly with the available hand that wasnt shaking the individual's hand. As his gesture is accepted by the male, Yuki begins to shake the male's since his gesture had been accepted. While shaking hands with the male he listens as the male begins to speak again, answering his question about who he is. Balmung, what a strange sounding name, Yuki thought to himself as he gazed down at the male while shaking his hand. It turns out the male only had the one name and didn't have a last name, much like Yuki when he was younger though he didn't use his given last name much despite the fact that he has one. The male continues to speak and Yuki listens as he makes the comment about being a student of the magical arts, something that is somewhat interesting to the half-breed. Bringing the hand shake to an end Yuki releases his grasp on Balmung's hand and lets his own fall back to his side while looking at the male, " I see. I'm Yuki and it is a pleasure to meet you Balmung. " Yuki murmurs to the male. " Don't believe I'm really a student of anything though I do enjoy fighting. " he says as a slight grin takes form on his face, " Though being a student of the magical arts sounds interesting... Perhaps we should find a place to sit so we can talk more? " Yuki inquires, his gaze shifting from the male for a brief moment as he glances around before turning his gaze back to the male.

The introduction of Yuki got Balmungs mind working immediately, bringing up possibly pointless information in his head but information none the less. ( Hmm..Yuki. It's Japanesse for snow, which matches the color of his hair... an interesting name that fits ) Balmung was an inquisitive individual that made observations both useful and pointless information. Thinking ahead with processing information was his kind of thing even when utilizing the Magical arts. The figure looked like he was one who would enjoy fighting, despite him admitting to it. The way he dressed and the idea of carrying a weapon like that in public hinted that. Oddly enough the gestures presented earlier would give someone a different idea. Some people give negative reactions to something like what had just happened, but this person didn't which gave him a good feel about Yuki. The suggestion earlier would play into this, as getting something to eat would satisfy everything that had been brought up. He'll be able to relax, get something into his stomach like he originally intended to, and speak to Yuki." Yea sure. In a place like this there should be a food joint near here. I'll treat ".

Yuki keeps his gaze on the male for a brief moment longer before he shifts his gaze from the male, again glancing around as he begins to search for a place that they can go to in case the male decides to take him up on his offer. As he begins to speak again Yuki turns his gaze back to the male as he seems to take him up on his offer but even go further as to offer to treat Yuki to something to eat which sounded good in the half-breeds mind. " Sounds good to me. " Yuki answers with a smile as he turns his gaze Balmung and again glances around for a moment as he thinks upon the male's question. " Hmmm... " Yuki murmurs lightly as he thinks upon Balmung's question. " Well... " Yuki says as he begins to speak, " I believe I may know a place not far from here.. I know of at least one down by the docks, though it depends on what type of food you are partial to. " Yuki says as he shifts his attention back to the male as he falls silent, waiting on an answer from the male.

Balmung thought about it for a second, recalling that he was quite okay with sea food, though he had never eaten at the docks before. Any place that he ate at was somewhat above par of other places, though he wouldn't mind making an exception for this one. One could only suspect sea food from the docks, in which he was quite okay with. There was some dishes that he was quite picky with, but well prepared dishes was okay. This was Mare Maris, and most of the things had been above average, so it wasn't crazy to think that even the sea food would be good." Alright that sounds like a good plan. I like well prepared sea food so Im up for it ". He replied with his hands in his pockets, turning away trying to see what direction would the docks from their current position. Even though Yuki knew, Balmung still felt like searching around, though if Yuki began to move in the direction then Balmung would simply follow him all the way there." You should always have food in your belly so you can think and act. It wouldn't be wise to get caught up in something and not be able to act when you need to. " Yuki says as he begins to lead the way down to the docks. " You don't want to die, do you? " the half-breed inquirers as he glances back to the male for a brief moment before turning his gaze away from the male and back to the area in front of him as he leads the way.

A nod would come from Balmung, which wasnt for the part where Yuki asked him if he wanted to die, but for the general agreement about it all together. Balmung had magic, but one thing that he relied on the most was his intellect and his ability to process information. He didn't have a big physique so he could never really rely too much on force." You're right on that, and making moves that wasn't thought out usually isn't apart of me. Im here actually looking for a new place for myself to take residence in, and in the process of the search, the important of food being within me kind of slipped ". His hand motioned to the back of his head as he rubbed it slightly, slightly ruffling his own hair up a tiny. Now when he thought about it, it was quite foolish of him to go that long without food. It would at least get you off the streets. " he adds as he turns his gaze back ahead of him. Looking back ahead Yuki shifts his gaze until it falls upon the sign of a tavern. As he rests his gaze upon the sign Yuki gives a faint nod, " This way. " He says as he continues to move forwards, moving his way through some people as he heads towards the tavern.

For the given situation, Staying at an inn may have been a good idea, but Balmung wasn't a big fan of Inns for some reason. It wasn't that he was above it, but shady stuff often occured at them and even though Mare Maris was an great place, he wouldn't change the feel now. There was no telling how long he would be here, so in his mind he was set on becoming residence, that way he would have the flexibility to come back and leave knowing that there is a home waiting for him. " Im looking for permanent residence. The cost to remain in a Inn for an extended period of time may screw me over in the long run ". Balmung continued to follow Yuki towards the location, thinking about what he would throw into his stomach once he get there. His head occasionally looked left and right to take in the area some of the places so he could in a sense map down the land in his head." How long have you been around here ? you kind of give the feel as if you're not residence, but then I could be wrong in that feeling ".

As Balmung begins to speak again Yuki listens to him as he begins to explain his desire to be come a permanent resident here in Mare Maris. " I see. Coming to the tavern her reaches out and pushes the door open before stepping into the establishment, " I have been here for a few days now and I usually don't stay to long if I cant find work. One thing that Balmung had caught on too, which was the words I see, which indicated that he was an individual that possessed above average listening skills and average speaking so to say. Someone who was or are more of a listener than a talker themselves, though his appearance kind of gave that feel too. Balmung just didn't like to base everything off of apperance alone though because people had a habit of surprising someone when others would make assumptions about them. He confirmed that he wasn't from around here before they entered, which normally would have caused Balmung to go into further thought, but the looks from everyone in the place intervened in that, and when they went back to minding their own business, Balmung's mind immediately shifted to what he would get to put in his stomach." So what do you intend to get ? " Balmung asked out of curiosity. He wasn't sure what was good there, so in the midst of making their way to a place to sit, He would think of what he had taste for and what would help satisfy his hunger in a more effective manner, meaning filling the stomach with food that immediately induces a satisfying feel.

Spotting an open table, Yuki begins to make his way from the entrance to the tavern across to the open table he had spotted. As he moves towards the table Yuki hears the question from Balmung and now that it had been brought up Yuki begins to dwell on what he shall have to eat now that they ahd arrived at the tavern. At first Yuki gives a faint shrug to answer the question as he dwells on it more. Coming to the open table Yuki glances to Balmung for a brief moment before he reaches back and pulls the massive blade from the harness on his back and sets it on the table. " I'm not all to sure. " Yuki murmurs as he pulls out one of the seats and sits down before leaning back into the seat as he lets out a soft sigh, " Perhaps just a large slab of meat. " Yuki answers as he looks to Balmung. " What about you? " Yuki inquires. Moving to the table moments after the two had taken there seats a waitress comes up to the table and bows before speaking to the two, " Welcome, may I get you a drink first or do you two know what you would like to eat? " She asks as she glances between Yuki and Balmung.

Balmung sat down around the time that Yuki sat down, not leaving a period between the both. Yuki didn't know what he would have, and neither did Balmung. He had to eat something though so he reached deep down and thought of something that he would like that hopefully they would have." I think Im going to get myself Chipotle Lime Bacon Wrapped Shrimp. It's a well made dish that satisfy health in taste needs ". He replied before the waitress made her way over to them. Balmung was here to get food in his stomach, so simply having drinks first wasn't an option for him." I'll have my dish now. I'll like to have Chipotle Lime Bacon-Wrapped Shrimp, and the drink Raspberry Ice tea ". With giving his order to her, His attention turned to Yuki wondering what he was going to order or if he was just going to drink for now. Balmung took what Yuki said about having a slab of meat as a joke, as having that in that text would give the idea that he was just going to have raw meat, which would have been quite odd for Balmung.

As Balmung spoke up about what he was planing to eat Yuki thought on it for a moment since it sounded like it might be good though he wasn't sure about trying it right now, perhaps later. With the arrival of the waitress, Yuki glances to her as she speaks up, his gaze shifting over her for a moment as he takes a brief moment to think more on what he would like to eat while Balmung speaks up again. The waitress looks to Balmung as he speaks up with what he would like to eat. She remained silent for a brief moment before giving a faint nod, " Alright. I'll see what we can do. " She says with a soft smile before turning her attention back to Yuki, " And for you sir? " She asks as she looks at Yuki. Since it had now come down to him Yuki knew he had to make a choice on what to have so he simply decided to go simple and with a nod he begins to speak, " I'll take a steak, rare please, and to drink... I'll some mead. " Yuki answers as he gazes up at the waitress. The waitress keeps her attention set on Yuki as he begins to speak and as he speaks she listens, nodding faintly in response to his order. As he finishes she gives another nod, " Alright. I'll be out with your drinks shortly. " She says as she bows before turning and leaving the table.

Their orders were placed, and now all they had to do was wait for the food to be prepared and then served to him. A Steak was a good food choice that Balmung too liked, though he prefered well done. When the lady went to deliver the orders, Balmung would turn his full attention to Yuki as he placed his arms on the table." Hey. You travel around and seem like an individual that would experience alot through his travels. Im curious about that huge palace. I don't know much, but with a palace there has to be a queen, or king. do you know anything about the person who may be in charge there ? " Balmung asked for two reasons. One was out of curiosity and the other was to see get an idea of the place that he'll be settling into. The looks of the place was great, there was no arguing that, but the way it may be ruled could come into question, and something that Balmung wanted to take into consideration. He doubted that asking other people on the streets would know much as commoners, but an individual that travels often come across information regarding the places that they travel to or have traveled to.

I don't really bother myself with such things actually. I have never sought to find who rules over this place since I have not had a need for such things. If you do wish to know I'm sure we can find out if we ask someone in here. " Yuki says with a faint nod, his gaze set upon Balmung for a moment longer before he slowly shifts it from the male. " You said you are a student of the magic, by what magic do you speak of Balmung? " Yuki inquires as he looks at the male, seeking information about Balmung and what he is capable of doing. With the question Yuki turns his attention back to Balmung as he waits for the male to answer.

A disappointing yet satisfying reply. Yuki didnt know, and admitted so with great honesty, and at the same time was willing to help him find out, something Balmung would be up to doing later on down the lines. He nodded slightly in a manner of saying alright. He motioned back slightly before Yuki asked a question which involved something mentioned earlier. He was curious as to the type of Magic that Balmung used, something that Balmung wouldn't mind explaining to this individual. He went back to his previous position with him leaning forwards slightly with his arms together." The Magical arts of Spatial Manipulation ". He wasn't sure how to explain it to Yuki, so he would make an attempt the best he could just in case Yuki didn't know." It's kind of like magic that requires a somewhat above level of intellect and spatial awareness in order to invoke. One should have a great knowledge of trigonometry when using this magic because it's utilized in the observation of objects around the user like myself and the angles found between surfaces of these objects. As Balmung begins to speak, answering his question, Yuki starts to listen to the male as he keeps his gaze set on the male. Yuki gives a faint nod to what the male is saying as he begins to think upon the type of magic Balmung is capable of preforming. Again Yuki found himself not completely understanding some of the things Balmung was saying though he got the general idea that if he did not preform the spell right that it could have rather dangerous side effects, though such a thing could be done to someones advantage if they wished to teleport a foe into a tree or even several feet under water, there were many things one could do with the type of spell Balmung seemed to possess. Balmung wasn't sure on what he was thinking at the moment which was completely out of character for him. At this point in time such a thing didn't concern the half-breed since he was neither involved with the parting planing and talking of the attack or the ones that were to be attacked, unfortunately living the life of a mercenary had made the half-breed not give much thought about the well being over much of the world unless he was being paid to do a mission. The response before given by Yuki now made sense. Yuki was a mercenary, an individual who is working or acting merely for money or other rewards. There was no negative, nor positive feel on it, as Balmung wasn't against Mercenaries and to an extent actually agreed with Yuki's response. There was no connection between the people and himself, so he shouldn't have felt this feeling. This wasn't merely stopping a thug from stealing from a stand or something petty, these individuals planned to attack a place where there would most likely be casualties, people and thing that is harmed or destroyed as a result of this messed up and possibly pointless act of violence. Balmung sliced off another piece, chewed it well, and again swallowed. He enjoyed the taste of his meal, though it couldn't be displayed due to the things on his mind. Now it comes out into the open. It was strange that Yuki didn't ask for anything before, but now that he did it caused Balmung to feel more comfortable. " She says as she picks the money up from the table and puts it away before she begins to pick up the dishes.

Upon exiting the Tavern, Balmung looked to the left first and then to the right, seeing if he was able to spot them, or at least one of them. To his luck upon looking to the right Balmung spotted one of the individuals in the group, which would cause him to turn the rest of his body in that direction and begin walking. Balmung maintained the same walking pace, not increasing it nor decreasing, giving the natural feel of tailing someone. His expression wasn't one that possessed by an individual looking forward to this. It was serious, his eyes arched downwards which would indicate anger. His right hand would rise up out of his pocket and motion into his hair that covered some of his face just slightly. If this is done correctly, then the lives of innocents could be saved.

Having fallen into silence after his inquiry, Yuki keeps his gaze set ahead of them as he continues moving forwards while waiting on Balmung to respond to his question. When Balmung begins to speak, Yuki glances to him for a brief moment before shifting his attention away from the male while listening to him. Yuki thought he would get an answer along the lines of what Balmung is giving him, he didn't really look like the fighting type, all spindly and stuff and from the sound of past conversation it seems he relies more so on his magical abilities rather then his physical abilities. Though such seemed to be the case the half-breed didn't have much problem with that given he has fought side by side with another magic user. Pulling the massive blade from its harness, Yuki brings it around and holds it in front of him, brandishing it against the thugs now that they have seem to fully caught onto them and prepare to engage in battle. Stepping forwards, Yuki moves out in front of Balmung before he comes to a stop, his gaze set upon the thugs. When Balmung speaks, Yuki glances back to him before giving a faint nod as he turns his attention back to the hugs, " That will be up to them really. " Yuki says as he shifts his gaze between each of the bandits, taking a brief moment to scan over each of them to see what they are armed with and have as armor. From the looks of it the thugs seemed to be rather poorly equipped, which is both a good thing and also a bad thing given that they may not have many things of value on them. As he looks at the thugs a soft grin begins to take form on the half-breeds face, " How about... you guy's make the first move. " Yuki says as he watches the thugs, giving them a chance to make some sort of first move if they chose to do so.

Things were set and the battle commenced between the two groups. Yuki's words reached the thugs ears and as well as Balmung's ears, causing a smirk to arise on his face. The thugs was close but not exactly within striking range, which gave Balmung a moment to make an evaluation. There was always a leader of a group, even if he wasn't the leader of the actual group. It would have to be the one that brought the word to the others about what the plans was, and that Individual would most likely lean to the back as the rest engaged. There was a chance that all of them knew the info, but there had to be one that knew a sight bit more which was the one most valuable to them. Thats the one that Balmung was alive, and the one he would hope that Yuki wouldn't cut down. These things processed in his head in a very quick manner which allowed to make a decision on what to do in the manner. Balmung was able to determine which one it was just by seeing the distance between each member and how fast the others was coming towards them." Don't attack the one scared to death ". He had already planned it out, making it easier for Yuki. His hand would wave over his face, and then stretch out to the side." Daemonium " was all he said as energy was conjured and launched in the direction of the Thug all the way in the back, which would go unnoticed unless others could sense Magical. When the Psionic Magic made contact, the Bandit in the back would see Yuki and Balmung, but behind Balmung would be his shadow which extended the entire area behind him and Yuki. The shadow tentacles covered such a large area that it blocked the view of Mare Maris, and within the shadows grew large sharp teeth and huge demonic like eyes everywhere, being something that would even freak out a Kami or Oni. Of course only that one thug could see this as he froze in place, shaking, wanting to scream but finding it that it was impossible to even talk with such fear. The other Bandits rushed at Yuki, the first weilding an average sword, swing the sword horizontally at Yuki.

Yuki held his ground, his gaze set upon the thugs still as he watched them, his gaze slowly shifting as he glanced between them as he begin to think of a battle plan if he could truely formulate one aside from charging in and cutting them to ribbons. Then again Balmung did want one of them left alive since thye still had to find the place the rest of the thugs are going to attack. As Balmung speaks, informing him not to attack the scared one, Yuki gives a faint nod as he lets out a soft growl, his grip on the handle of the blade tightening as he prepares himself. Shifting his gaze, Yuki looks to the first bandit to make it to him, coming in close to attack him with his sword. Yuki's gaze instantly narrows into a glare as his lips draw back into a fang bearing grin as he comes up with his own massive blade at an unexpected speed, faster then the average human can move Yuki comes up and smashes his blade into the blade of the bandit, his strength combined with the weight of his weapon perhaps enough to knock the weapon from the bandits hand and if caught off guard to the ground. As he knocks the blade away, Yuki gives a quick flick of his wrist and launches a chain from his left sleeve, sending it straight for another of the bandits, the attack from the chain aimed at wrapping around the neck of the next bandit in an attempt to bring him to the ground.

Things seemed to be going in the favor of the two member party, Balmung disabling one of the thugs with his attack, and Yuki commencing the physical onslaught. The thug that launched his attack at Yuki saw him bare his fangs through the drawback of the lips. That caused the thug to second guess attacking Yuki, but the sword was already swung. When Yuki's blade came to combat his sword, the thug would feel an overwhelming strength not only stop the swing, but force the weapon out of his hands and away from him. This scared him now as there was a throbbing pain in his arms from this. He believed that Yuki was going to cut him down, but when Yuki went for another with the chain attack, He made a run for it. Meanwhile another thug that had been charging Yuki would find a chain wrapped around his neck as he would then attempt to struggle, though he was brought down immediately. 3 of the 7 Bandits had already been taking down by the two, as Balmung would then attempt to bring down one as he began chanting something that would sound like a witch would chant." May the Cursed Pulse that flow deliver it's final Blow ". And with that, he would swing his hand quickly as if his arm was a blade, swinging it horizontally towards one of the thugs, causing a distortion to occur around the thug when the magical energy reached him, causing his body to appear like water for an instant before he returned to normal and passed out.
